The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Sakers (22-9) in Incheon on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Daegu (11-20) 80-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sakers. Strangely LG Sakers outrebounded Daegu 39-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-1989, college: Missouri) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Seong-Woo Jeong (178-1993) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Nigerian center Micheal Eric (211-1988, college: Temple) replied with 15 points and 4 assists for LG Sakers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Daegu moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sono SG. Defending champion LG Sakers still keep top position with nine games lost. Daegu is looking forward to face higher ranked Anyang (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
